Bright suns!

I am so excited because today is May the 4th. I love Star Wars, and after not being able to go to Disneyland last year on this day, I made sure I was going today.

While out sitting in Batuu, I thought it would be fun to put together a little Amazon shopping guide for you all about Star Wars. Here are some cute things to add to your cart to feed your dark side (or light side– I don’t discriminate).

How cute are the star hair pins? I think this is such a fun, subtle way to add some Star Wars flair to your everyday. I also love the pork keychain. I actually have him, and he really is the cutest.

One of my other favorite ways to add some Star Wars in my daily routine is to have some drink ware. I love a good mug, and you really can’t go wrong with whichever one you get!

I hope you are having a great Wednesday, and May the 4th be with you.

In about one month I leave for Spain!

I have so much to do before then– I have to figure out what to wear, figure out transportation, and figure out what I need to buy for a 23 hour travel day. Here are some of the things I have bought and want to buy for my long-haul flight.

I recently bought this neck pillow and I am honestly so excited to use it. This pillow can conform to pretty much any position you need for sleeping. I also need to buy an eye mask like this one for my flight. I tend to have trouble sleeping so I plan on buying some liquid IV sleep to help me out. My goal is to try and make the longest leg of my trip as comfortable as possible, so I plan on buying this foot hammock to help keep my blood circulating. The longest stretch I have on a plane is about 14 hours long. I bought these deodorant wipes to help keep me smelling fresh.

If you have any items you love when you travel please let me know! I am still searching for some gems.

January is the first month of the year, and it usually a month to set goals and get your life together. I have done a lot of planning this past month, as well as cleaning and organizing. One of things I would like to do more of is sharing my Amazon purchases with all of you. I love finding things on Amazon, and I love seeing what other people buy. Here is what I bought this month on Amazon.

I realized I lack a lot of greens in my diet. While I do eat veggies and take vitamins, I felt like it wasn’t enough. I decided to try this greens powder out in a new smoothie (recipe coming soon) and I love it! I also love that this greens powder has probiotics in it too.

To go along with my new smoothie I bought this vanilla bean powder. I think its so fun and delicious. I can’t wait to add it to more things like blended coffee drinks and baked goods.

Speaking of smoothies, when the weather is warmer or I can finish one before I get out the door, I love making smoothies. I find they are so easy to prep and put together and they are delicious! However, I really struggle with taking them to-go because my blend jet cups have no lids and I find them cumbersome to tote about at work. I found these very aesthetic smoothie jars and they are a game changer. They have bonus points for being dishwasher safe too.

For Christmas I received a Nespresso machine and have been loving it. I especially love making lattes with the espresso pods. Since Spring is right around the corner I decided to get a Pistachio syrup and it is the most delicious syrup I think I have ever tasted. I also got this pump to go on the bottle for quick and easy dispensing.

My closet needs a little bit of updating. Over the past year I did a lot of purging, and I have a lot of holes in my wardrobe now. One area I really want to work on is my dresses. I feel like I only have summer and spring dresses, but none for cooler temperatures. I saw this dress and love how cozy it is. It can easily be dressed up with tights and boots or can be worn by itself with a pair of sneakers. I love having pieces that are versatile.

I honestly love finding things on Amazon. What did you buy recently that you love?

The weather is warming up, and I am over wearing sweats (at least for the moment). Every time I am out, and about, I find myself wearing this Free People denim dress on repeat. I usually don’t go for flowy oversized dresses, but this dress is the exception! I love the stitching on the waist because it really gives the dress some definition and shape. I love pairing it with some fun sunglasses and sneakers. I would recommend sizing down in this dress if you don’t want it too oversized.

I’m not going to lie, January and February were ROUGH for me. Now that it’s March, I have been focusing a lot on myself because, well, I deserve it! I have been doing a good amount of self care everyday, and I am learning that it is okay to not be as motivated, as productive, or as scheduled as I normally am. This past week I have stepped away from my normal routines, and allowed myself to not feel guilty about it.

I have found that my preferred self care is treating myself to some things that bring me joy. I started off the week by trying the new Starbucks shaken brown sugar oat milk espresso drink, and instantly became addicted to it. I have had it almost every day #sorrynotsorry. I think that if you are an espresso lover you will absolutely love this drink, but if you aren’t big on coffee flavor, you will probably hate it.

I’ve done a few mini shopping sprees at Sephora lately too. I have been wanting to update my makeup routine, and have been in the mood to try new brands. I picked up some Charolette Tilburry, Rare Beauty, Farmacy and Laneige. So far I am loving every thing I bought, especially the Laneige lip balm and the Charlotte Tilbury foundation. I also added some drugstore products to my line-up and they are amazing.

I bought some cute affordable sunglasses for Amazon. I really wanted a fun accessory to spruce up my outfits, and these definitely add some flair I have been missing. I get so many compliments on the heart glasses and the round wire glasses every time I wear them.

I have been leaning hard into my Disney feels this week and I have been blessed with so much Disney news that it makes it worse– HA! For those of you wondering, yes I have tickets to “A Touch of Disney”, and yes I will be purchasing tickets for when the parks open. Until then, I have been loving my little Nuimos in my room (and these super cute accessories for Minnie). I also have been enjoying watching Star Wars with my boyfriend while enjoying these super cute treats from a local bakery.

I hope that if you are having a hard time right now, you are able to take a step back and just focus on you. Everyone has struggles, and just because yours might not be earth shattering, it doesn’t mean that they are any less important. Take care of yourselves no matter what that looks like to you and be unapologetic about it.

Sending nothing but good vibes your way!

I can’t believe Valentines day is already here. It is one of my favorite holidays because who doesn’t love to celebrate love? Obviously things are very different this year, but I also think it’s a great opportunity to take a step back, and celebrate the way you want to without too much pressure. My boyfriend and I saw this as an opportunity to have a chill Vday with a delicious charcuterie board, and a whole lot of Netflix.

The best part about charcuterie boards is you can literally put anything on them and it looks amazing! We opted for mostly cheese and two meats with a small selection of crackers. We also popped some champagne and bought flowers to feel festive.

My boyfriend and I had a fun trip to Trader Joe’s where we spent far too much time standing in front of the the cheese selection. We usually don’t get the chance to see each other on Valentine’s Day, but this year we are making up for lost time by celebrating two days in a row. How are you planning on celebrating Valentine’s Day? I hope whatever you have planned, that you are able to enjoy delicious food and good company (even if it’s virtual).

Fall is upon us and I am fully embracing it. I know things are going to be very different this year with the impact of COVID, but I think that’s even more reason to live my fall life to the fullest.

I recently stopped by my local Target and picked up this super cute pumpkin waffle maker as well as this super cute pumpkin pillow to put on my couch. I love this glass pumpkin jar, perfect for all the Halloween candy I will be consuming, and this gorgeous wreath. I also have been loving the Mrs. Meyers scents for Fall.

I can’t go without my favorite candles from Bath & Body Works this time of year. I always stock up on Marshmallow Fireside, Leaves, and White Pumpkin when they go on sale. You really can’t go wrong with any of the scents they have. I prefer more spiced scents over sweet, but to each their own!

I will be purchasing some cozy sweaters from Amazon very soon. I love this orange stripped one which can go from now until the end of November (Thanksgiving outfit?) as well as this lovely animal print cardigan.

What have you been buying lately for the Fall season? I would love to know so leave a comment down below! I’m alway on the hunt for good Fall items.

I can’t believe school is starting already…like how?! I swear it was just finals and once more we are virtual here in California. That means lots of school at home. This time around I wanted to be more prepared and have a set up at home that sets me up for success (and much less stress) this semester.

I thought it would be fun to share with you what I bought for school and to hopefully help out any fellow students stressed about a full semester online. This list is geared more toward college level but could also apply to high school as well. This Wednesday’s Wishlist is going to be a little different from the ones before in that it will be more broken down.

Last semester it was such a scramble to go from being on campus one week to being fully online the next. I honestly had no desk, no earphones, and nothing to really prepare for what I was about to endure! This time around I have a plan and FINALLY a good set up.

I cannot stress how important this is! Take it from someone who did class in bed and had the hardest time paying attention because she did not have the most basic setup for school. You at least need a desk. Even if its a small one in a corner somewhere, get a designated work area. A desk like this one would be perfect!

If you are using a laptop I highly recommend this laptop stand. Not only does it keep your computer from over heating but it also prevents you from slouching! I am all for anything that helps me when sitting for long periods of time which is why I also love this lumbar support to put on my chair.

Last semester I dropped the ball on writing down due dates and assignments which led to me forgetting a lot of things and causing so much stress. I personally love Erin Condren planners but they can be expensive. The academic planners are so great for keeping track of everything school related. I also really like these from Target. I also think it’s a smart idea to have a large calendar to keep nearby to reference for dates. I personally own this glass one and I love it so much! I have it right by my desk and it’s so convenient.

With circumstances being what they are school supplies are looking different this year. I highly recommend getting some blue light glasses (unless your prescription glasses have them) to help with the hours of staring at the computer and the strain on your eyes. I also think that having a wireless charger by your desk is such a must have. You don’t want to have to worry about finding a cable to plug into to charge your phone in the middle of lecture.

If you don’t have AirPods or some other type of bluetooth headphones, you need them. Like now! Last semester I had nothing, not even plug in headphones, and my life was so hard. Dealing with zoom lectures while dealing with people making a lot of noise leads to a horrible school experience. Having them allows me to concentrate so much more.

Buy yourself some snacks. I prefer healthy options like mini kind bars or NOKA fruit pouches but if your heart desires flaming hot Cheetos then go for it #quarantinelife. My schedule is going to be crazy and I only have 5 minutes between each class which means I will have no time to go and make lunch. I think that having snacks on hand will make life so much easier.

Along the lines of food I also plan on having a 32oz water bottle on my desk for me to drink throughout the day. It is so important to stay hydrated and this just makes it easy. On the flip side of that I also will be having my coffee every morning. I am planning on making this semester as pleasurable as possible and if that means having cute coffee mugs to look at well then so be it!

So one thing that I can’t do without during school are these clear tip highlighters. I literally highlight everything: notes, dates, my calendar, books…it helps me to make note of important things I need to pay attention to. If you don’t currently think you need highlighters I recommend trying them out and see how much better your life is for it!

I hope you all are enjoying your last days of summer vacation! I know I am especially now that I have everything ready for school. I hope that this list helps and that we all have a good semester.

Summer is in full swing and I am making the most of this quarantine summer vacation. This week I was suppose to be in Europe BUT you know…COVID things.

Anyway, I am planning on living my best summer backyard life at my cousins house. I have made myself a pool oasis and have been diving head first into all things summer.

I am loving this pool I bought at Target and these adorable swan drink floats from Amazon. I also love these two swimsuits! This one is so fun and this one is a great classic basic.

These shorts are so great for summer! You can dress them up or down or even throw on top of a one piece suit. I also got this swim coverup from Amazon and it is amazing!

I also have been loving this creamsicle nail color as well as this versed lip oil. Skincare is definitely important when spending time in the sun so this mineral spray sunscreen from Sun Bum is everything!

What makes you feel like you are on a summer vacation in lockdown? I would love to know!

I have always been a huge fan of Pina coladas. Even as a child, I would always order virgin Pina Coladas every chance I got. Nothing says summer more to me that a great blended Pina Colada in a fancy glass. Now here’s the problem: they are super unhealthy AND there are a lot of bad ones out there!

I have been perfecting a “healthier” version of my favorite drink. I cut out all the syrups, added juices, and the fake coconut goop you buy in the store. I put healthier in quotes because, well, drinking is never considered healthy-HA!

  • 1 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 ounces white rum (I used Malibu-not the flavored one, the original)
  • 1/4 cup organic coconut milk (I like the So Delicious brand)

put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. You might need to adjust the coconut milk depending on how thick you like it. Serve in glass of choice and enjoy!

{ Pineapple Glasses | Mirror Tray | Coasters (Sold Out)- Similar Here | Book | Candle | Plant }

I love how simple and easy this is with the added bonus that I’m not consume a lot of extra sugar and artificial things. Nothing says summer more to me than a good blended Pina Colada! What is your favorite summer drink?
