3 OUTFITS I WOULD WEAR TO STAR WARS NIGHT AT DISNEYLAND

3 OUTFITS I WOULD WEAR TO STAR WARS NIGHT AT DISNEYLAND

I can’t believe tomorrow is May 4th already! I am so excited to be spending the morning at Disneyland soaking in all the Batuu vibes. I originally wanted to go to the Star Wars event Disneyland is hosting that evening, but if I’m being honest, I couldn’t afford tickets. SO, a morning trip to Batuu and my favorite ice coffee is just what the doctor ordered.

I thought it would be fun to share some outfit inspiration for everyone who loves May the 4th as much as I do. Here are three outfits I would wear to the May the 4th event at Disneyland if I was going.

This outfit is so cute and definitely caters to my more comfy, relaxed side. I am calling this my Endor outfit because of the graphic tee, like how cute?!

Next up is my dark side outfit. I love how minimal this outfit is with only black and white elements. It’s so cute and I probably will wear this at some point in Galaxy’s Edge when it’s nice and hot outside.

For my last outfit, I wanted something sparkly and a little fancy. If I am going to be wandering around Batuu at night, I think sparkly stars are a must. I paired it with this super cute “Cutie Batuutie” tee and some sparkly blue ears to match the blue milk I will be drinking. I also took the tie from my dress and tied it in my hair.

I would love to know which outfit is your favorite and if you are attending the May the 4th event, so leave me a comment down below!

WHAT I WORE: BARCELONA, SPAIN

WHAT I WORE: BARCELONA, SPAIN

I can’t believe I have been home for almost a week. Barcelona was a dream trip and it went by way too fast.

I am still fighting some jet lag and trying to get back on California time, so while I wait for my body to re-adjust I wanted to show you some of my outfits from Spain. There will be more posts to come, but I need more time to get my thoughts together for them.

So, I hope you enjoy my outfit roundup from my week exploring Barcelona, Spain!

Because the weather was so cold, and windy, I ended up wearing more repeats that I had intended to. I will say that having pieces that mix and match well together makes traveling, and getting ready, SO much easier. I am very grateful I brought the layers I did or I probably would have froze.

MY DISNEY STONEY CLOVER LANE COLLECTION

MY DISNEY STONEY CLOVER LANE COLLECTION

I picked up many things from being in quarantine in 2020. I learned how to make a good Manhattan, I learned to cross-stitch, and I also learned about a brand named Stoney Clover Lane.

I was introduced to SCL via Instagram, and instantly fell in love. When I found out that they had Disney patches, it was the nail in the proverbial coffin.

Fast forward to today, and I have quite the little collection started.

I get so many questions about all my pieces, both on Instagram and in-person, that I decided to make 3 separate posts to showcase what I have (and of course give you all the details).

Welcome to my Stoney Clover Lane Disney collection!

MICKEY + MINNIE CLASSIC PATCHES

Let’s start with the basics.

I started off with only Mickey and Minnie patches because at the time, they were the only Disney patches SCL had. The hardest part for me was deciding what color to put them on. I ultimately ended up with “sky” for all of my Disney pieces because I really liked how they looked on the pastel blue, but the color also reminded me of retro Disneyland for some reason.

I have four main pieces: A mini pouch, a clear travel pouch, a fanny pack, and a classic backpack.

{Mini sized pouch in “sky” with Mickey 3″ patch}

{Clear travel pouch in “sky” with “HOME” rolled embroidered letters in “sky” with a 2″ Mickey patch}

{Classic fanny pack in “sky” with 3″ Mickey + Minnie patches}

{Classic backpack in “sky” with 5″ Mickey + Minnie patches}

I have used all of these in the park interchangeably and love them all. Not only can I use them as standalone pieces, but I love that they all can match and be a set if I want them to be.

Unfortunately these patches are no longer sold. When I bought mine, it was through a personal shopper for Walt Disney World. They were originally only sold at Fable gift shop at the Four Seasons Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Once SCL received a license to create more Disney products, they discontinued the Mickey and Minnie patches. Your best bet is to find a seller online through a Facebook group or if you don’t mind paying a lot, there is always Poshmark.

Do I have a small stash hidden away?! of course, but I am saving them for a rainy day!

DISNEY PRINCESSES

The Princess collection came about towards the end of 2021. When it was first announced I was very excited, but once I saw the patterns my excitement went down a bit. I only really like the Cinderella print and the Belle print. I was very choosey when it came to this collection because I wanted to make sure I spent my money on items that I truly love and can see myself using multiple times.

I currently have five items: A carriage fanny pack, two scrunchies, and a glass slipper patch.

{“Seeing Stars” collection fanny pack in “cloud” (no longer available) with Cinderella carriage patch}

{Nylon Scrunchie in “Countdown to Midnight” print}

{Nylon Scrunchie in “Enchanted Beauty” print}

{Glass slipper patch}

I have plans to put my glass slipper on a mini to use in the parks as well as everyday. I also plan on adding to these items at some point. I would love to get a notebook in the Countdown to Midnight print for a planner sleeve as well as one in the “enchanted Beauty” print to use as a book sleeve.

Do you have anything SCL Disney? I would love to know what pieces you have and how they are customized (if they are) so please leave me a comment down below!

NIGHT COURT INSPIRED OUTFITS

NIGHT COURT INSPIRED OUTFITS

Over the past month, I have been introduced and enthralled with the world of ACOTAR. Since being introduced to Velaris, and all things Night Court, I have been finding myself adding some new pieces to my closet to live out my daydreams of walking through the City of Starlight.

For those of you unfamiliar with ACOTAR, it is A Court of Thrones and Roses by Sara J. Maas. This series has quickly becoming one of my all time favorites, and it has been so long since I fell in love with a series. If you want to start reading, I highly recommend, BUT I will warn you that you can’t just stop at the first book!

I really wanted to find pieces that I could wear in everyday life (cosplay isn’t really my thing). I shopped a few different stores and took lots of inspiration from Pinterest. If you want to look at any pieces just click the link below the picture.

Here are my Night Court outfits:

Walking through the Rainbow

{ Sweater | Leggings }

If you have read ACOTAR, I would love to know who is your favorite Archeron sister and your favorite bat boy!

FREE PEOPLE DENIM DRESS

FREE PEOPLE DENIM DRESS

The weather is warming up, and I am over wearing sweats (at least for the moment). Every time I am out, and about, I find myself wearing this Free People denim dress on repeat. I usually don’t go for flowy oversized dresses, but this dress is the exception! I love the stitching on the waist because it really gives the dress some definition and shape. I love pairing it with some fun sunglasses and sneakers. I would recommend sizing down in this dress if you don’t want it too oversized.

PLAID HIGH WAISTED SKIRT

PLAID HIGH WAISTED SKIRT

This year while I have been in quarantine I have spent a lot of time paying attention to my wardrobe. I have been constantly purging, and purchasing. As fall rolled around I realized that I didn’t really have any pieces for the season. A lot of my pre-quarantine work clothes have been either donated or tossed out. This gave me the opportunity to buy some new pieces including this super cute, and comfy skirt. I recently saw this online at Target, and knew I had to have it. I love that it is neutral with a pop of red which means it can work for both fall and winter. Win-win!

{ Plaid Skirt– currently on sale! | Crop top | Shoes (Old)- Similar Here | Bracelets | Earrings }

I love styling it with some combat style boots and a cropped black tee. It is perfect for when the weather is not really cold, but when you want to feel the fall fashion spirit. What pieces have you added to your fall wardrobe lately?

SNAKE SKIN FOR FALL

SNAKE SKIN FOR FALL

It is my favorite time of year for many reasons– the days are shorter, the nights are colder and the colors are everything. Here in SoCal, you have to be creative when it comes to the fall season. We don’t get “fall weather” and we rarely get the changing of the leaves. I have always had the mindset to make lemonade out of lemons when it comes to this season, and one of my favorite was to feel the fall spirit is through fashion.

I must admit that I’m sad we are still in quarantine because it means that all my cute fall pieces don’t get the love they deserve. Since I am not in an office working like I typically am, I’ve had to find new ways to wear my fall favorites. This year I have been into the snake skin trend. I only currently own two pieces but I feel like that will soon change.

Snake skin is one of those “neutral” prints that go with almost everything, and I have been loving them this fall season. I wanted to share with you all how I have been making some lemonade, and rocking some snake skin.

On the few occasions my boyfriend and I have a date night that involves being outside (aka getting takeout and eating outside in his backyard) I have been putting effort into my clothes. I have ditched my uniform of black leggings, sneakers and tees for something a little more put together. I have been loving this sweater I recently purchased from Target paired with some denim and my snake skin booties.

{ Booties (Not available)– Similar here, here, and here | Sweater | Jeans | Necklace – Similar here | Earrings }

I love how this whole outfit is in neutral tones, and the snake skin booties add a little pop. The ruffle detail on this sweater is to die for, and it’s so soft. This is one of those outfits that look like you put effort into getting ready, but you really haven’t.

What trend have you been loving this season? I would love to know because I have been feeling more adventurous lately with my trends.

ONE PIECE 3 WAYS | TANGERINE FLORAL SKIRT

ONE PIECE 3 WAYS | TANGERINE FLORAL SKIRT

I’m not going to lie: all throughout quarantine I have been heavily working on my wardrobe (post coming soon). I have been purging, buying, and styling things while I have the time and energy to do it! I thought it would be fun to share with you guys how I have been styling some pieces lately.

I recently bought this tangerine floral skirt from an online boutique and I just love how versatile it is. So I have styled it three ways: for work, for errands, and for lunch with the girls. I love that I can wear this with a blazer and loafers just as easily as with a graphic tee and Converse!

{ BLAZER– ON SALE! | SKIRT (SOLD OUT)- SIMILAR HERE | BODYSUIT (SOLD OUT)- SIMILAR HERE | LASHES | NECKLACE }
{ SKIRT (SOLD OUT)- SIMILAR HERE | GRAPHIC TEE (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)- LOVE THIS ONE | BRACELETS (SOLD OUT)- SIMILAR HERE | HAIR PINS }
{ SKIRT (SOLD OUT)- SIMILAR HERE | BRACELETS (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)- SIMILAR HERE | SHIRT (OLD)- SIMILAR HERE | HAIR PINS }

Have you been playing around with your wardrobe lately? I think it’s so fun to try and figure out multiple ways to wear something. I truly believe that whenever you but a “fun” piece of clothing it is so important to get multiple outfits out of it!

LOVESHACKFANCY x TARGET DRESSES

LOVESHACKFANCY x TARGET DRESSES

I will be honest, I am a newer fan of LoveShackFancy. I never heard about the brand until recently but I instantly fell in love. The only problem: I can’t afford 99% of their clothing. While it is so beautiful it is also very expensive.

When I saw that they were doing a collaboration with Target I was super excited! It sold out super fast but weeks later I was able to snag up two of the dresses from my wishlist. They both have the same pattern but because the styles of the dress are different they give me different vibes and I’m not mad at it!

I love how girly this dress feels and looks! I love playing up the sweet details in this dress with fun accessories like this pearl headband, fun star beaded bracelets, and some canvas loafers. You could also easily make it a little more edgy with some black accessories and gold jewelry!

I also think that this would be such a fun outfit for a zoom wedding or date but I also could see myself wearing this dress for work. It is super comfortable and will definitely be on rotate in my closet for years to come!

Dress (Sold Out) | Star Bracelet | Headband | Lashes

The other dress I got I love just as much! This dress gives me total beach weekend vibes. I love it styled with some natural sandals and a straw hat. This is perfect for breeze days at the beach or a picnic in the park (social distanced of course)!

To be honest when I first tried it on I wasn’t in love with it BUT after playing with the sleeves (I rolled mine in a little to be a little more flattering) and styled it… I loved it!

Dress (Sold Out) | Hat (Old)- Similar Here | Bracelet 1 | Bracelet 2 (No Longer Available) | Bracelet 3 (No Longer Available)

I love the colors and the print of these dresses! Normally I would never buy two pieces in the same print but I just loved it so much. Did you get anything from the LoveShackFancyXTarget collab? I would love to hear what you got and if you loved your pieces!
