TRUTH TALK: CORONAVIRUS HAS TURNED MY LIFE UPSIDE DOWN

When I first heard about Coronavirus I honestly wasn’t too concerned about it. I had two trips planned in May and July that I was so excited for and it finally felt like I was going to have an amazing year ahead of me. Once the virus became more widespread and serious a lot of changes quickly began to happen.

I work full-time at a theatre and due to new regulations I am out of work for eight weeks. EIGHT WEEKS! When I first heard the news, a lot of things went through my mind. I thought of everything from “How am I going to pay my bills?” to “What I am I going to do being stuck in my tiny apartment?”. It eventually led to a mini mental breakdown after one of my first-last days of work. It was overwhelming and scary to say the least.

When I got home I had a conversation with my best friend as well as my boyfriend to help me navigate this crazy situation we are currently in. Between the two of them I was able to take some breaths and come to terms with my current, sucky, situation.

I am going to try and take this all day-by-day and try my best to keep a positive and healthy mindset. I have a few more days at work and after that I am going to be living my best social-distance self. I was hoping to start this blog off with more lighthearted things but I also want to be real with all of you. I had several posts planned revolving around my two trips (which are up in the air) and some fun fashion based posts; but, in light of the current situation practically everything in my life has been put on hold. It sucks…really sucks, but I have come to terms with the fact that it is out of my control. So, for the time being, I am going to try my best to help you all out in this at-home situation most of us are in.

I know this can be a very lonely and scary time for all of us and I think it is important to know that we are not alone! We are all going through the motions and people are just a skype call away.

I had hope to do monthly subscription reviews but for the time being I have put all my subscriptions on hold. I do still have my Fab Fit Fun box that was previously delivered, would you still be interested in seeing it? What kinds of things would you like to see on this blog during this isolation period?
